Karyn J. Hilliard assists the accounting department and plays a lead role in the preparation of tax returns, audited financial statements, and international corporate audits.
Prior to joining Castro & Co., Ms. Hilliard had worked with many large international firms in the international tax department. She prepared returns, handled tax audits, and developed transfer pricing policies and reports. She also headed up several international corporate audits, one of which she was deployed to London for a year to handle the case in person. Another audit ended up lasting ten years and going to Competent Authority. (we won!)
In her spare time, she is on the Board of Directors for the National Depression Glass Association, a 501( c) (3) charitable association dedicated to preserving the heritage of American made glass.
