The IRS Has Ended the Offshore Voluntary Disclosure Program

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has announced that they have formally ended the Offshore Voluntary Disclosure Program (OVDP) effective September 28, 2018. However, it is absolutely critical to clarify that the Streamlined Filing Compliance Procedures Program is remaining open for non-willful taxpayers.
