About Castro & Co.
Leading International Tax Lawyers in Miami & Washington DC
Founded in late 2007 just months before the global market collapse, Castro
& Co. was forged in the market turmoil of the Great Recession of 2008.
As revenues of companies around the globe plummeted, companies quickly
realized that sophisticated international tax planning could substantially
reduce their global effective tax rates. We are honored to have been a
part of the plans of so many companies around the globe and to have been
able to contribute to their success, which, in turn, has resulted in our own.

We Put Our Clients First
The hallmark of Castro & Co.'s success has always been and will
continue to be the same: Sophisticated international tax planning of the
highest quality and results-oriented billing practices by superior attorneys
who are proud of their profession. Each lawyer on our team does everything
possible to solve our clients' issues with the utmost loyalty. Castro
& Co. remains committed to prioritizing long-term relationships ahead
of short-term profit goals. This commitment has allowed our firm to build
close, lasting relationships with our clients.
Pro Bono Work
Castro & Co. is currently in the process of establishing the first
low-income taxpayer clinic in Dallas, Texas. As the only major metropolis
in the United States without a low-income taxpayer clinic, the low-income
families of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex will substantially benefit
from this clinic that will offer free, high-quality tax services to families
that have certified their low-income status.
Castro & Co. is absolutely devoted to serving the surrounding low-income
communities. All of the attorneys and professionals at Castro & Co.
are required, as a condition of employment, to devote a respectable number
of hours each year to pro bono activities, including the soon-to-be-established
tax clinic. If your income is below the federal poverty line and you would
like your case to be considered by our firm, please feel free to contact
the office closest to your area for more information on how to submit
your case for consideration.
Charity and Community Involvement
We are proud to sponsor numerous charitable projects around the globe,
including Kiva, a non-profit organization with a mission to connect people
through lending to alleviate poverty. Leveraging the Internet and a worldwide
network of microfinance institutions, Kiva lets individuals lend as little
as $25 to help create opportunity around the world. Kiva works with microfinance
institutions on 5 continents to provide loans to people without access
to traditional banking systems.
This organization couples microfinance with training programs that are
designed to help individuals in developing economies cultivate trades
or crafts in skilled work as a means of becoming self-sufficient as entrepreneurs.
This is a new and innovative long-term strategy that can combat poverty
and foster development of local economies in developing countries.
